We are a family of five, parents Lisa and Barry, our daughter and two sons. The children are bilingual with English and Italian and we all love to learn additional languages and explore other cultures. We are well travelled and have lived abroad in many occasions. We spend as much time as possible as a family and love to explore our natural and historical surroundings. We like to go for walks in nature, play football, billiards, cycle, and the beach. We have been hosting many students over the years and have successfully placed all our guests with work and volunteering experiences, English classes and summer camps.
We are experienced hosts for foreign students who want to learn English in a full immersion environment.
We live in Gorey, a pretty village in the south east of Ireland. Our house is central to the town and within walking distance to the town centre, shops, schools, library, sports club and all services.
Each student is given a single room and three meals per day. There are no other students speaking the same native language so full immersion is guaranteed.
Barry can offer private English classes for an additional cost. We can help organise activities and camps, language courses and work experience at no additional cost.
Students must be 14+ and for work experience the minimum age is 16.
Airport collection from Dublin airport by public transport can be available at an extra cost.
